AIM & IFCCI Partner to Expand Atal Tinkering Labs, Boost Innovation in Indian Schools

The Atal Innovation Mission (AIM) and the Indo-French Chamber of Commerce & Industry (IFCCI) have joined forces to expand the reach and impact of Atal Tinkering Labs (ATLs) across India. The partnership was sealed during the 3rd Edition of IFCCI CSR Connect Day 2025, held at the Embassy of France in New Delhi. Both organizations share a vision to make India a global hub for innovation, technology, and social impact.

The collaboration aims to bolster ATL infrastructure and promote digital literacy in schools through corporate social responsibility (CSR) support from IFCCI's network of member companies. The partnership will identify and support schools for ATL implementation and upgradation, train and mentor teachers, organize innovation challenges and exhibitions, promote industry-school linkages, and encourage CSR investments in technology-based education initiatives. Atal Tinkering Labs provide students with access to advanced tools such as 3D printers, robotics kits, and Internet of Things (IoT) devices, fostering a hands-on learning environment. The initiative focuses on creating industry-education linkages to expose students to emerging technologies, entrepreneurship, and real-world problem-solving.

The AIM-IFCCI collaboration seeks to create a sustainable innovation ecosystem that nurtures curiosity, problem-solving, and entrepreneurial thinking from a young age. By leveraging CSR support from IFCCI's network, the partnership aims to enhance the infrastructure of Atal Tinkering Labs and promote innovation-based learning and digital literacy in Indian schools.
