In the heart of the Waikato region, Greening Taupō is hosting a captivating professional development session for teachers, aimed at enhancing their understanding and teaching of geothermal concepts. The event, scheduled for the 31st of July 2025, will take place at the awe-inspiring Craters of the Moon in Taupō, New Zealand.

As part of Geothermal Week celebrations by Kids Greening Taupō, the session will provide teachers with knowledge, activities, and resources for class trips to Craters of the Moon or other geothermal areas in Taupō. The focus is on interactive and nature-based learning experiences, offering a unique opportunity to delve into the region's unique flora and fauna within its geothermal environment.

Registration for the event, which can accommodate a maximum of 20 participants, is free for teachers.
