British Embassy Invites Proposals for 2020/2021 Human Rights & Green Growth Projects in Costa Rica & Nicaragua
The British Embassy in San José is inviting project and my activity proposals for the 2020/2021 financial year, focusing on human rights and democracy, and inclusive and green growth. The Embassy seeks real, measurable outcomes to support development in Costa Rica and Nicaragua.
Proposals can be submitted as my activity bids, for one-off interventions with a maximum budget of $10,000, or project bids, with a minimum of $10,000 and a maximum of $20,000. The bidding process involves using relevant bid forms and my activity-based budget templates, with proposals due by midnight on 15 April 2020. Successful bidders will be notified by 15 May 2020.
Both my activity and project bids will be assessed based on alignment with thematic priorities, achievable outcomes, clear evaluation procedures, risk management, safeguarding policies, and overall value for money. Projects are expected to spend 85% of their budget by end December 2020. Funding does not cover purchase of capital equipment or communications strategies or campaigns.
For specific information about the project and my activity proposals for the 2020/2021 financial year, including the contact person for applications, consult the official website of the British Embassy in Costa Rica or contact them directly. The Embassy may provide such information through their official communication channels.
