DAV's Patriot Boot Camp Gets Boost with SparkHaus: Kentucky's Largest Veteran Entrepreneurship Hub
DAV's Patriot Boot Camp is set to receive a boost with the launch of SparkHaus, a collaborative workspace designed to support veteran and spouse entrepreneurs. The project, a partnership between Kenton County, the Northern Kentucky Port Authority, and Blue North, is transforming into a community-focused hub, with construction underway since late-September 2024.
SparkHaus will host various veteran-led firms, including Sunflower Fuels and eGateway Capital, and aims to accommodate 200 to 300 people daily, making it the largest entrepreneurship hub in Kentucky. The space, led by Urban Sites and designed by City Studios, will bridge gaps in funding, education, and mentorship for veteran entrepreneurs through DAV's Patriot Boot Camp program.
DAV is eager to support local veterans and families through SparkHaus, utilising the space to empower entrepreneurs. The organisation recognises the unique qualities that veterans and their spouses bring to entrepreneurship and is partnering with SparkHaus to foster this potential.
