Edinburgh University & OneHE Empower Adjunct Faculty, Nominated for ETIH Innovation Award
The ETIH Innovation Awards 2026, honouring excellence in global education technology, are set to celebrate groundbreaking work in workforce development, AI integration, and innovative learning solutions. The University of Edinburgh, in collaboration with OneHE, has provided the Adjunctions platform to empower non-tenured lecturers with professional development opportunities.
Adjunctions, a platform dedicated to adjunct and non-tenured faculty, has joined forces with OneHE, a global professional learning community for higher education. This collaboration brings OneHE's microlearning library and micro-credentials directly into the Adjunctions platform, allowing adjunct faculty to enhance their skills seamlessly.
The University of Edinburgh and OneHE have worked together to offer professional development programs through the Adjunctions platform. This initiative aims to bolster adjunct faculty and ultimately improve student outcomes by providing professional growth opportunities alongside hiring workflows.
The ETIH Innovation Awards 2026, with a focus on global education technology, will announce winners on 14 January 2026 and feature them in their first print magazine. Organizations across the UK, the Americas, and internationally are invited to submit their entries. The Adjunctions platform, with its integration of OneHE's resources, continues to empower adjunct faculty and drive innovation in higher education.
