FCHO & Keepmoat Homes Unveil 36 New Affordable Rentals in Oldham's Werneth
First Choice Homes Oldham (FCHO) and Keepmoat Homes have joined forces to build 36 new houses for rent in Oldham's Werneth area. The development, known as Suthers Court, is part of a wider regeneration scheme and will offer a mix of 2, 3, and 4 bedroom family homes for rent. The realtor development, which started in November 2019, was due to complete in winter 2020. Despite extensive searches, no specific project by FCHO and Keepmoat Homes completed in the summer of 2020 was found. Heidi Thompson, Executive Director of FCHO, sees the development as a key step in providing affordable, quality houses for rent and transforming the area. Simon Miller, Senior Land and Partnerships Manager at Keepmoat Homes Manchester, expressed excitement about delivering the final phase of homes for rent and affordable housing. The Suthers Court development is part of FCHO's development programme and has received funding from Homes England. Despite no specific project being found from the summer of 2020, both FCHO and Keepmoat Homes remain committed to delivering quality, affordable houses for rent in the Werneth area.
