Two former summer job colleagues, Elias Perez and Teoman Kose, have indeed joined forces to launch skulio in 2024. Their AI-powered platform aims to simplify educators' lives by streamlining administrative tasks and worksheet creation.

Perez and Kose met in Vienna during a summer job and discovered their complementary skills, indeed making them an ideal founding team. The idea for skulio was born during a seminar at the University of Witten/Herdecke, where they recognised the struggle of overwhelmed teachers and the time-consuming task of creating worksheets.

skulio's AI-based tool helps teachers generate high-quality worksheets and differentiate them based on individual learning focuses. The company operates on a subscription model, offering individual licenses for teachers and school licenses for institutions. Currently, their priority is to refine the product and gather feedback through Early Access and pilot projects with schools. Despite being a small team, they've indeed managed to move quickly and efficiently, staying close to their target audience.

In a year, skulio hopes to have successfully launched its product, won over the first educators and schools, and be discussing a first round of financing. The company's AI tools promise to save teachers time and effort, allowing them to focus more on teaching and student interaction.
