Free Workshop Explores German & EU Freedom of Information Laws
An upcoming workshop, free and open to all, delves into the intricacies of information access. Led by Arne Semsrott of FragDenStaat.de, it explores freedom of information laws in Germany and the EU. Held in five chapters, each session focuses on a unique aspect of information retrieval.
The workshop, part of the Reporter4You program, aims to bolster media competence in schools. It covers key regulations, successful procedures, and additional research possibilities beyond press law. Participants will gain insights into freedom of information laws, guided by Semsrott and Thomas Hochstetter, a political scientist from the Eckstein Gemeinde Berlin.
To attend, prior registration in the Reporterfabrik, an online academy by CORRECTIV, is mandatory. The Reporterfabrik offers workshops and tutorials on media knowledge and journalistic craftsmanship.
The free workshop, divided into five chapters, promises to equip attendees with valuable knowledge on information access laws. Led by experienced professionals, it is an opportunity not to be missed for those seeking to enhance their media competence.
