Goal of the Program: Establishing a structure for European advancement and growth

The registration period for the upcoming summer semester at the CHECK! Student Research Center Solingen is just around the corner. Starting on January 13, 2025, at 9:00 AM, interested individuals can sign up for a diverse range of free courses in mathematics, computer science, natural sciences, and technology. The registration process will close on January 19 at 11:59 PM.

Located centrally and easily accessible by public transportation, the Research Center, housed in House 1 at Gruenewalder Str. 29-31, is within walking distance from Gruenewald station. Course rooms will be located at the Founder and Technology Center on the Innovation.Campus.

The courses cater to individuals as well as entire school classes and preschool groups. For the upcoming semester, CHECK! is announcing a new collaboration with the municipal media center of the school administration in Solingen. Details about this collaboration and its impact on the course program and registration process are yet to be disclosed.

Participants will be notified via email about their assigned course or waiting list status after the registration period. Course places will be allocated by lottery.

In addition to the collaboration with the municipal media center, CHECK! has partnered with local companies such as Erdmann system house, Codecentric AG, and item, as well as the School of Games in Cologne, which significantly expands the course program, especially for school classes.

The course program covers a wide range of topics, including chemistry, computer science, artificial intelligence, biology, creative techniques, and nature and sustainability for preschool children. Current information about the media center's materials will be available on the CHECK! website from February. Furthermore, CHECK! offers excursions to local companies, providing students with valuable insights into the world of work. The Research Center is committed to fostering an environment that encourages young people to explore their interests and develop their skills in a supportive and engaging setting.

Education-and-self-development opportunities extend beyond on-site courses at Check! Student Research Center Solingen, with online-education options also available for learning. The upcoming collaboration with the municipal media center of the school administration in Solingen is expected to broaden the scope of available courses, including online learning resources.
