The education department will assure the implementation of this policy, beginning from the upcoming session following the summer holidays, providing ample time for a smooth transition to the mandatory dress code.

UT administrator, Gulab Chand Kataria, praised the initiative, emphasizing the importance of maintaining a dignified and consistent appearance among teaching staff. UT director school education, Harsuhinder Pal Singh Brar, reflected that the uniform will foster identity and integrity among teachers. He went on to specify the color code of uniforms for teachers and indicated that they had been given a sufficient time period before summer vacations to assemble their uniforms.
This proposal to institute uniforms stemmed from Kataria's remarks during a January event organized by the education department to distribute appointment letters to newly recruited nursery teachers.
