Hessen Launches €14K Fund for Young Ideas to Drive Community Change

The Hessian Ministry of Labor, Integration, Youth and Social Affairs is introducing a new fund for young ideas. Led by Minister President Boris Rhein, this initiative aims to empower young people to drive positive thinking and changes in their communities, fostering a vibrant democracy and inclusive society.

The fund, open to groups of at least two to three young people, encourages creative and participation-enabling ideas. It supports projects that bring about concrete positive thinking, with a focus on active engagement and societal participation. In the funding year 2025, a total of €14,000 is available, offering flat-rate subsidies of up to €1,000 per project.

The fund is open to groups working with suitable carriers such as support associations, associations, youth associations, foundations, church communities, or municipalities. By providing this support, the Hessian government seeks to strengthen the engagement of young people and their active participation in societal processes. This initiative is an important impetus to encourage young people to raise their voice and take responsibility for their community, fostering social cohesion.

The fund for young ideas, launched by the Hessian Ministry, is set to make a significant impact. With a total of €14,000 available in 2025, it offers young people the opportunity to implement creative ideas that drive positive thinking. By supporting and encouraging young voices, this fund aims to create a more vibrant democracy and an inclusive society.
