In a significant move towards promoting AI-driven digital transformation in the education and healthcare sectors, Huawei has launched the Global Education and Healthcare Partner Alliance (GEHPA) at the 2025 Global Education and Healthcare Partner China Convention.

Li Junfeng, Vice President of Huawei and CEO of the Global Public Sector Business Unit, emphasised the importance of these sectors in the global digital and intelligent transformation. He stated that Huawei is committed to driving the high-quality development of the GEHPA to contribute to the sustainable growth of global education and healthcare.

The GEHPA aims to strengthen communication and collaboration with industry partners worldwide, leveraging their mutual strengths for win-win cooperation. Peter Zhou, Vice President of Huawei and President of the Data Storage Product Line, highlighted the importance of high-quality data in AI implementation in the healthcare sector. He proposed four initiatives: standardized healthcare data and management, shared intelligent diagnostic and treatment data infrastructure, tool-based and standardized development of data and model engineering, and the creation and adoption of sound AI diagnostic and treatment business models.

Alliance members will jointly conduct technical research and develop innovative, integrated AI-driven solutions that accelerate the digital and intelligent transformation of education and healthcare sectors globally. The partnership will provide a dedicated platform for continuous interaction, innovation, and shared value among partners, covering over 300 guests from 40 countries.
