IDP Education Unveils First IELTS Future Awards Winners, Including Dr. Chinenye Okafor
IDP Education has revealed the first-ever IELTS Future Awards winners. Among them is Dr. Chinenye Okafor, a Nigerian medical doctor. Each winner received a $5,000 USD cash prize to support their international pursuits.
The IELTS Future Awards recognise and support test takers with significant goals abroad. This year's winners come from diverse backgrounds and have ambitions to build meaningful careers and contribute to communities worldwide.
Dr. Okafor plans to use her award to complete her training in obstetrics and gynaecology abroad. She joins other winners like Dr. Ashique Anwar Ahmed from Bangladesh, who aims to drive social change through advanced studies, and Areeza Afnan Mahmud, who wants to revolutionize Bangladesh's healthcare landscape through infectious disease research. Saman Akbaryan, another recipient, aims to secure permanent residency in Australia with the award's help.
