IIM Kozhikode and Emeritus Partner to Launch COO Program, Offering Global Business Education in Collaboration with Kellogg Executive Education
The Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (IIMK) has announced the launch of a new programme designed for aspiring operations leaders and professionals seeking to expand their leadership networks and sharpen their ability to lead transformation at the C-suite level. The programme, titled the Chief Operations Officer (COO) Programme, is offered in collaboration with Emeritus and features two online certificate courses from Kellogg Executive Education.
The COO Programme is set to commence on September 30, 2025, and will run for a duration of 12 months. Eligibility for the programme requires graduates or diploma holders with a minimum of 10 years of work experience. The fee for the programme is INR 6,76,000 + GST.
The programme is designed to equip seasoned operations and supply-chain leaders with technology fluency, a data-driven strategic mindset, and executive presence. Through the programme, participants will be able to drive strategic initiatives, lead during crisis and change management, facilitate nimble competitive advantage, gain industry-specific insights, achieve value-chain innovation, and master operations and supply chain leadership.
The programme will be delivered through live online lectures over eight months by distinguished IIM Kozhikode faculty. The format includes two exclusive online certificate courses from Kellogg Executive Education - AI Strategies for Business Transformation and Business Strategies for Growth: Fewer, Bigger, Bolder.
The COO Programme is part of a wider range of academic programmes in management education offered by IIM Kozhikode. The institution, which is ranked #3 in India (NIRF 2024, Management) and among the Top 70 globally for Executive Education (Financial Times Open Enrolment Rankings 2024), is globally accredited by EQUIS (EFMD) and AMBA (UK) and is on the verge of a triple-accreditation crown.
In addition to the online sessions, the programme includes a three-day on-campus immersion with leadership workshops, faculty-guided capstone project, and opportunities to network with seasoned professionals across sectors. Upon successful completion of the programme, participants will receive a certificate from IIM Kozhikode and have an opportunity to gain Executive Alumni Status.
IIM Kozhikode has previously collaborated with Emeritus for executive education programmes. The collaboration aims to provide learners with a blend of academic rigour and practical application, preparing them for strategic operational excellence.
The Chief Operations Officer Programme, launched in September 2025, is just one of the many initiatives undertaken by IIM Kozhikode to foster leadership and strategic thinking in the realm of operations and supply chain management.
