International College Fairs featuring 120 Universities from Across the Globe held in Abu Dhabi and Dubai
The IDP Study Abroad Expo is set to return to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in September 2025, bringing a wealth of opportunities for students seeking to further their education abroad. The event will take place in two locations: the InterContinental Abu Dhabi on September 20 and the Grand Hyatt Dubai on September 21.
Visitors can expect a smooth and guided journey after check-in, where they will meet with IDP counsellors to discuss their academic goals, budget, preferred destinations, and grades. The Expo will feature a total of 225 institutions, with 105 in Abu Dhabi and 120 in Dubai.
IDP Education, a global leader in student placement and international education services, has supported over 900,000 international students worldwide. The organisation is committed to helping UAE-based students turn their ambitions into action at the Expo.
The Expo will offer a variety of interactive sessions and specialized areas to cater to students' needs. High-demand fields such as Engineering, Business, Computer Science, Medicine, and Law will be in focus. A dedicated Medicine Session is scheduled from 5pm to 6pm to explain medical-school pathways and prerequisites.
A Medicine Pavilion will be present, where medical schools and advisors will outline entry routes. A Study in Dubai area will be available for those considering options within the UAE. A booth for the Hamdan bin Mohammed Scholarship Programme (HBM) will also be featured prominently, offering information on the programme's scope, benefits, eligibility criteria, and application process.
UCAS application services will be on site to support UK-bound students, and IDP Education will offer tech-driven counselling and university matching, on-the-spot application support, and seamless access to IELTS testing and preparation. An IELTS Masterclass will take place from 1.30pm to 2.30pm before doors open, offering practical guidance for test-takers.
IDP Education aims to provide families with direct access to admissions guidance, programme details, and practical insights into student life. Students can speak directly with university representatives to clarify entry requirements and intakes before finalizing choices and submitting applications on the spot at the IDP application desk.
Rashi Bhattacharya, Area Director for the UAE, Oman, Qatar, Turkey, and Kazakhstan at IDP Education, said, "IDP Education combines scale with substance and aims to change the narrative and transform the world for students who find the right course in the right country."
Doors will open from 3pm to 8pm on both days, offering ample time for visitors to explore the Expo and make informed decisions about their future education. Families are encouraged to bring academic transcripts, identification, and any available test scores to enable faster on-site decisions.
The IDP Study Abroad Expo in the UAE promises to be an unmissable event for students seeking to broaden their horizons and take the next step in their academic journey.
