International Universities Gathering in Abu Dhabi and Dubai Through the IDP Study Abroad Expo
IDP Education, a global leader in international education, is bringing its Study Abroad Expo to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) this month. The event will take place in Abu Dhabi on September 20 and in Dubai on September 21.
The Expo aims to help students compare course structures and fees, explore scholarship opportunities, and understand application timelines for the 2025/26 academic year. Students can speak directly with university representatives to clarify entry requirements and intakes.
IDP Education offers a range of tech-driven services to support students in their study abroad journey. This includes counselling and university matching, on-the-spot application support, selected fee waivers, and seamless access to IELTS testing and preparation.
Visitors at the Expo will find a dedicated booth for the Hamdan bin Mohammed Scholarship Programme (HBM), which will brief eligible Emirati students on the programme's scope and benefits. The Medicine Pavilion, a Study in Dubai area, and UCAS application services will also be available on site.
In addition to the Expo, interactive sessions will run alongside the event. These include an IELTS Masterclass, a Medicine Session, and IDP's USA Premium Service. The sessions are designed to provide practical insights into student life in each destination, including campuses, accommodation, support services, and post-study opportunities.
After check-in, students will meet IDP counsellors to discuss options based on grades, budget, and preferred destinations. Families are encouraged to bring academic transcripts, identification, and any available test scores for faster on-site decisions.
Representatives from 105 institutions will participate in the Expo in Abu Dhabi, and 120 institutions will be present in Dubai. High-demand fields such as Engineering, Business, Computer Science, Medicine, and Law will be in focus at the Expo.
Rashi Bhattacharya, Area Director for the UAE, Oman, Qatar, Turkey, and Kazakhstan at IDP Education, stated that IDP Education is committed to helping UAE-based students turn their ambitions into action at this year's Expo.
The Study Abroad Expo will be held at the InterContinental Abu Dhabi and the Grand Hyatt Dubai. With a clear journey upon arrival, students and families can make the most of their time at the Expo and take the first steps towards their study abroad dreams.
