IT Festival at the Youth Gathering: Exploring Careers, Discussions, and Awards
Yakutsk, Russia - YATEK, the largest gas production company in the region, took part in the youth recruitment festival "Work in Yakutia" on July 16. The event, which took place at the creative cluster "Labor Quarter" in Yakutsk, aimed to attract young talent to the oil and gas industry.
Tatyana Merzlyakova, Deputy General Director of Human Resource Management and Social Policy of YATEK, participated in the business segment of the festival. She spoke at the discussion platform "The appeal of Far East regions for the development of young people's career trajectories" and shared information about YATEK's programs for students, graduates, and young professionals.
The in-demand professions in the oil and gas industry, such as lab assistants, geophysicists, energy specialists, and capital repair specialists, were discussed at the event. Lyudmila Koryakina, a colleague of Evgenia, added that they offered application filling, quiz participation with prizes, and a quest game to show that oil and gas professions are relevant for both genders. The youth showed interest in the event, according to Lyudmila Koryakina. The winners of the quest game will receive travel and accommodation for two people.
