Jharkhand Academic Council Announces Compartment Exam Dates for Class 10th and 12th in 2025
The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has announced the dates for the Class 10th and 12th supplementary exams in 2025. The exams are scheduled to take place from August 23 to September 1, 2025, for Class 12th students, and from August 23 to August 29, 2025, for Class 10th students.
For Class 10th students, the exams will be conducted in two shifts: 9:45 AM – 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM – 5:15 PM. Subjects like Commerce, Hindi, Sanskrit, Science, Social Science, Maths, English, and regional languages are covered across different days. The first subject for the Class 10th supplementary exam on August 23, 2025, is Commerce or Home Science.
The Class 10th supplementary exam dates for each subject are as follows:
- August 23, 2025: Commerce or Home Science
- August 25, 2025: Science, Urdu, and Regional Languages
- August 26, 2025: Sanskrit and Social Science
- August 28, 2025: Mathematics and English
- August 29, 2025: Regional Languages and Music
For Class 12th students, the exams will also follow a similar two-shift pattern with subjects such as Sociology, Psychology, Geology, Economics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Computer Science, and Biology allotted on specific dates. The JAC Class 12th Inter compartment exams for 2025 will take place from August 23 to September 1.

- August 23, 2025: Sociology, Psychology, Geology, Economics, Chemistry, and Mathematics
- August 25, 2025: Geology (I.Sc.), History (I.A.), English Core A/B, Hindi Core A/B, Matribhasha (All Streams), Political Science (I.A.), Entrepreneurship (I.Com.), Chemistry (I.Sc.), Home Science (I.A.), Business Studies (I.Com.)
- August 26, 2025: Political Science (I.A.), Entrepreneurship (I.Com.), Chemistry (I.Sc.), Home Science (I.A.), Business Studies (I.Com.)
- August 28, 2025: Mathematics / Statistics (All Streams), Economics (All Streams), Sociology (I.A.), Psychology (I.A.), Biology (I.Sc.), Anthropology (I.A.), Business Mathematics (I.Com.), Computer Science (I.Sc., I.Com.), Geography (I.A.), Physics (I.Sc.), Philosophy (I.A.), Accountancy (I.Com.), Elective Language for Arts (I.A.), Additional Language for Science & Commerce
