Job Event in Landshut Region: Opportunities Await
On May 17, 2025, the Ergoldinger Bürgerhalle in Landshut, Germany, will host an inclusive job fair for individuals seeking employment opportunities due to a disability or chronic illness. This event, running from 10 am to 4 pm, is the third of its kind in Bavaria, following successful events in Regensburg and Ingolstadt.
Over 30 exhibitors from various industries will be present, including well-known companies like dm, MIPA, BMW, and government offices, as well as the organization FIEGE, which actively promotes diversity and inclusion in its workforce.
The fair aims to connect job seekers with disabilities with companies actively seeking personnel. In addition to the exhibitors, informative presentations on topics like employer and employee support will be held. Counseling services will be available to assist with work and disability-related questions during the fair.
Carolin Völkner and Linda Pilz, disability commissioners for the city and district of Landshut, are planning the event in collaboration with the Round Table on Inclusion in the Workplace. They are committed to ensuring the fair is accessible and inclusive for all, with barrier-free access and an accessible restroom.
Students and university graduates are also welcome to attend, and a chill-out area will be available for those needing a break. Snacks and drinks can be purchased on-site, and parking is available.
Sign language interpreters will be present to facilitate communication between deaf and hearing visitors. The job fair is part of the municipal action plan to implement the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
This inclusive job fair is open to anyone seeking suitable employment or training opportunities, including job seekers, those considering a job change, students transitioning from school to work, and individuals who have participated in vocational rehabilitation or training programs.
So, if you're looking for a new job opportunity and identify as having a disability or chronic illness, mark your calendars for May 17, 2025. The inclusive job fair in Landshut could be your stepping stone to a rewarding career.
