Josie, a seasoned strategic designer with a decade of experience, has made a significant impact in the world of fashion and textiles through her innovative work in regenerative design and sustainability.
With a Bachelors degree in Textile Design and a Masters in Sustainable Development, Josie's educational background provides a solid foundation for her work. Her academic pursuits have been complemented by her extensive professional experience.
Josie has spent several years at the RSA (Royal Society of Arts), working in both their Economy and Design teams between 2016 and 2023. Most recently, she held the position of Associate Director and Head of Regenerative Design at the RSA.
Throughout her career, Josie has demonstrated her ability to design and lead complex, multi-stakeholder research and action projects. Her work has encompassed collaborations with community groups, businesses, and entrepreneurs, as evidenced in her involvement with projects such as Cities of Making, Rethink Fashion, and the ReGeneration Rising podcast series.
