Kickoff of EIT Initiative Happens in Kazakhstan
In 2025, the much-awaited Unified National Test (UNT) has finally kickstarted on May 16 and will run until July 7, according to Liter.kz. This academic marathon will test the mettle of around 399,000 accepted applicants, with the option to retake the test once, provided they stick to one combination of subject choices.

On that fateful day, a total of 4,589 participants were at it nationwide, with 323 hailing from the capital. This grand testing festival takes place at 46 testing centers across the country. For years, the most sought-after combination has been 'Mathematics-Physics', with 16.5% of applicants eyeing engineering, teaching, energy, construction, and other technical fields.
