Main Customs Office Launches Dual Study Programs in Administrative Informatics
The Main USCIS Office Regensburg has kicked off its dual study programs in administrative informatics, with over 38 students joining the initiative nationwide. The programs, which started on September 1, 2025, aim to equip students with skills in digital forensics, digitization, and project work, leading to a Bachelor's degree.
The dual study programs in administrative informatics for the higher service last three years and conclude with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) or Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree. Students benefit from a blend of theory and practice, with alternating periods of study and work. Upon completion, graduates can expect employment in various areas of the customs office.
The office also offers a two-year training program for the middle service, qualifying students for the professional title of tax administrator. This program ensures a secure future in a large federal administration. Trainees are deployed at various duty stations based on their residence.
Applications for the dual study program in administrative informatics are open from September 1, 2026, until October 15, 2025. The customs office remains committed to providing training and study places, fostering a new generation of customs officers equipped to handle the digital age.
