New hires and prospects in our local administration - Eight fresh recruits and job seekers
New Trainees Begin Careers at Landratsamt Landshut
Eight new trainees have joined the district authority in the Landshut district and surrounding areas, marking the start of their careers in public administration. On September 1, 2025, these trainees began their journey, with four of them specialising in Administrative Specialist roles.
The new Administrative Specialist trainees will undergo a comprehensive training programme, which includes practical placements at the Landratsamt, vocational school, and courses at the Bavarian Administration School. This programme offers a varied and responsible nature of work, encompassing waste management, licensing, nature conservation, construction, and public transport.
The induction days, designed to ease the transition for the new trainees, will provide them with an opportunity to learn about their tasks and the organisation of the Landratsamt. These days are supported by trainees from higher years, ensuring a smooth onboarding process.
Landrat Peter Dreier, Eva Schinharl, and Christian Gruber welcomed the new trainees, emphasising their potential to achieve a lot in administration. The Landratsamt places great importance on diligence, enthusiasm, and a good connection to the citizen as the most important prerequisites for success in their roles.
In addition to the Administrative Specialist trainees, four other trainees have opted for a civil service career path at the second level of qualification. This two-year dual training programme combines practical experience at the Landratsamt with theoretical blocks at the training facility. These trainees have chosen to become Administrative Specialists in the field of General Internal Administration of the Free State of Bavaria and Municipal Administration.
Two trainees at the third level of qualification will also begin their studies on October 1, 2025, but their roles and specialisations are yet to be specified.
The Landratsamt looks forward to welcoming these new trainees and supporting them in their careers, as they contribute to the important work of the district authority in the Landshut district and surrounding areas.
