Nightlife Sciences: Unraveling Genetics on the Dancefloor
The Aquazoo Löbbecke Museum in Düsseldorf, Germany, is set to launch a new session of the Aquazoo Kids-Club on Monday, November 5. This exciting club, aimed at children, offers a unique opportunity to learn about aquatic life and conservation in an engaging and interactive way.
Registration for the Aquazoo Kids-Club is now open and can be done by writing a half-page introduction or a 60-second video with a maximum file size of 30 MB. The videos or written submissions should include a brief introduction about the child and why they would like to join the club. All submissions should be sent to [email protected].
Participation in the Aquazoo Kids-Club is free, thanks to financial support from the Provinzial Foundation. The club meets on the first Friday of each month, from 3 to 6 pm, at the Aquazoo Löbbecke Museum.
During the club meetings, children will have the chance to search and examine fossils, observe birds in the North Park, and investigate the waters around the Aquazoo. They will also get hands-on experiences such as setting up an aquarium, preparing food for animals, and even meeting the vet.
Moreover, the club provides a platform for children to brainstorm ideas to protect the seas, global climate, and biological diversity. They will also learn about zoo and museum work, animals, and scientific research.
The deadline for Aquazoo Kids-Club registration is next Wednesday, October 27. For the most up-to-date information about the club and its activities, we recommend visiting the Aquazoo Löbbecke Museum's official website or contacting them directly. The museum's regular hours are 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM daily, and it is located in Düsseldorf.
