Park University Appoints Jayme Uden as Chief Human Resources Officer

Jayme Uden, a seasoned veteran of Park University's student life division, has been appointed as the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) of the institution, effective from March 18, 2024. In his new role, Uden will oversee a wide range of human resources strategies, including talent management, employee relations, training and development, performance improvement, compensation and benefits, organisational development, HR information systems, and regulatory compliance.

Uden's extensive experience in student affairs administration will prove invaluable in facilitating employee engagement across the Park University network. His career in student life positions at Park University spans over a decade, from 2011 to his appointment as CHRO in 2024.

Prior to his new role, Uden served as the Associate Vice President and Dean of Students at Park University since December 2016. Before joining Park University, Uden was an Assistant Director for Residence Life at the University of Kansas from 2006-2011. He further honed his skills at Kansas State University, where he served as a Residence Life Coordinator from 2003-2006.

Uden's academic credentials are impressive. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Kansas, a Master of Education degree in Higher Education from Iowa State University, and a Doctor of Education degree in Higher Education from the University of Kansas.

Uden's skills and qualifications have been recognised by Park University Provost Michelle Myers, Ed.D. He has also been actively involved in collegiate student life organisations, including NASPA - Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education. Uden was also a member of the Northland (Kansas City, Mo.) Regional Chamber of Commerce's Leadership Northland class of 2013-14.

In addition to his CHRO duties, Uden will also serve as Park University's Title IX officer. He has also served as a past chair of the Missouri Student Affairs Council and a past board member of the Greater Kansas City Housing Information Center.

Although detailed public records or search results on Uden's career background and previous roles before becoming the CHRO at Park University are limited, his extensive experience and academic qualifications make him an ideal fit for the position. For those seeking comprehensive background details on Jayme Uden, professional networking sites like LinkedIn or official Park University announcements or press releases may provide more thorough career history.

Jayme Uden's extensive background in student affairs administration at Park University, combined with his education in Higher Education, will likely contribute to effective education-and-self-development and career-development strategies within the institution. As the new CHRO, Uden will be responsible for overseeing various human resources functions, including training and development, which may include cultivating opportunities for personal and professional growth for Park University employees.
