New Director Appointed at Park University

Catherine O'Sullivan has been appointed as the Director of Development and Alumni Engagement at Park University, effective from April 21, 2025. This role is crucial in fostering relationships with various stakeholders, including alumni, donors, and friends of the University.

Born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri, O'Sullivan holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English composition and literature from Fairfield University in Connecticut. Her professional journey has been diverse, spanning various sectors.

Prior to her roles in healthcare recruitment, O'Sullivan managed individual giving for the Kansas City Symphony from 2017 to 19. Before that, she served as the Director of Alumni and Constituent Relations at UMKC from 2008 to 12, and as the Director of Advancement with the University of Missouri - Kansas City's School of Medicine from 2012 to 16.

In more recent years, O'Sullivan owned a boutique store named Remix KC from 2019 to 21, and had a role as a talent acquisition adviser for Imperial PFS from November 2021 to March 2022. She also held a position as a healthcare recruiter for PRN Healthcare from May 2022 to July 2023.

In her new role at Park University, O'Sullivan will focus on cultivating and maintaining relationships with alumni, donors, and supporters to advance the University's mission and strategic goals. Her responsibilities will include identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding donors to support Park University's programs, scholarships, and initiatives.

The Director's role also involves inspiring alumni and supporters to contribute their time, talent, and resources to Park University. O'Sullivan will work to deepen the sense of connection and commitment to Park University among its alumni, donors, and supporters. She will create meaningful opportunities for engagement and collaboration to advance Park University's programs, scholarships, and initiatives.

As the new Director of Development and Alumni Engagement, O'Sullivan's experience and dedication are expected to significantly contribute to Park University's growth and success. The Office of Advancement and Alumni Relations at Park University is excited to welcome her to the team.
