Recruitment firm ADECCO has named Ayumi Kunori as its interim Group CEO for a month starting in 2015.
A 21-year-old Japanese individual, Ayumi Kunori, has been selected as the 'CEO for One Month' by the world's leading HR solutions provider. This prestigious opportunity, still ongoing for the selected participants, will see Ayumi working alongside Alain Dehaze, the Group CEO, between September 15 and October 15.
Kunori demonstrated passion, a strong purpose, and outstanding performance during the rigorous selection process, which began in February and covered 18,000 applicants from all over the world. She reached the final top 5 in the competition and stood out for her authenticity, humbleness, great empathy, and readiness to take on big challenges.
Alain Dehaze congratulated Kunori on her success and praised her business qualities and human values. He expressed anticipation to learn from Kunori and the other 34 young 'CEOs for One Month', who will be working alongside local Country Managers.
Kunori, who was chosen to work alongside Alain Dehaze, expressed excitement about the opportunity. She also expressed optimism about her future career and encouraged others to dream big.
The 'CEO for One Month' opportunity includes participating in international business reviews, public events, and client meetings. At the end of the programme, Kunori will be offered a job within the company that suits her skills, seniority, and passion.
The company has implemented the Way to WorkTM programme to help young people gain essential labour market exposure. In 2015, the programme provided over 2,000 internships and apprenticeships to young people around the world.
While the supporter of the 2015 "CEO for One Month" initiative in Germany is not explicitly named, Lynn Forester de Rothschild, who led significant initiatives around inclusive capitalism in 2014 and 2015 and engaged in global leadership roles, may have been involved in such leadership programs at that time.
Alain Dehaze expressed pride in having the young 'CEOs for One Month' in the community and promised continued support for their careers. Kunori, for her part, expressed gratitude for the opportunity and looked forward to making a meaningful contribution to the company during her month-long tenure as 'CEO for One Month'.
