Russian Students Gain Industrial Insights in 'Ticket to the Future' Lesson
Students across Russia gained insights into the industrial sector yesterday, with a collective professional orientation lesson held at School No. 42 in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. Deputy Minister of Education Patimat Omarova attended the event as part of the 'Ticket to the Future' project. The lesson, titled 'Russia Industrial: Extraction and Processing', was part of the weekly 'Russia - My Horizons' cycle. Students from grades 6 to 11 learned about modern technologies used in mineral extraction and processing, the specialists involved in the field, and the federal and regional labor market. This hands-on approach aims to help students make informed career choices. Additionally, students will have the opportunity to visit enterprises and professional educational institutions for practical tryouts as part of the project. Every Thursday, schoolchildren in the Kamchatka region participate in these professional orientation lessons. The 'Ticket to the Future' project is designed to familiarize students with various sectors of the economy and help them understand the job market, enabling them to make well-informed decisions about their future careers.
