Russia's Ministry of Transport Invites Kolyma Students to 'Safe Roads' Olympiad

The Ministry of Transport of Russia, along with other key organizations, invites Kolyma region schoolchildren to participate in the online olympiad 'Safe Roads'. This event, part of the approved list for 2025-2026, aims to reinforce traffic rule knowledge and increase road safety awareness among students in grades 1-9.

The State Traffic Inspectorate, responsible for cultivating safe road behavior, has been conducting preventive measures and involving children in road safety initiatives. The 'Safe Roads' olympiad, launched five years ago, has proven effective with over 20 million participants. This interactive platform allows students to study, review, and test their knowledge of key traffic rules.

In addition to knowledge, ensuring safe roads is crucial. This year, over 3,000 km of roads leading to schools and kindergartens will be updated as part of the national project 'Infrastructure for Life'. The olympiad, organized by the Ministry of Transport, the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and ANO 'National Priorities', with support from the Ministry of Education and Science, plays a vital role in enhancing road safety.

The 'Safe Roads' olympiad, with its interactive format and focus on key traffic rules, is set to reinforce learning and increase safety awareness among Kolyma region schoolchildren. With the support of relevant ministries and the national project 'Infrastructure for Life', the event aims to make roads safer for students, particularly on routes to schools and kindergartens.
