2025 Summer Fancy Food Show to Spotlight Emerging Leaders in Specialty Food Industry

The 2025 Summer Fancy Food Show, scheduled to take place in New York City from June 29 to July 1, is gearing up to be an exciting event for the specialty food industry. Hosted at the Javits Center, the show will showcase thousands of specialty food products, as well as introduce the inaugural Fancy Food Rising Stars.

The Fancy Food Rising Stars program, a part of the annual Summer Fancy Food Show, is organised by the Specialty Food Association (SFA). This program is designed to recognise emerging leaders in the specialty food industry, aged 35 and under. The SFA has selected an impressive roster of individuals for the 2025 cohort, including Louise Ainsman from Target, Edwin Asmal from Sanniti, Becca DeLara from Salad and Go, and many more.

Bill Lynch, president of New York-based SFA, expressed his excitement for the new Fancy Food Rising Stars program. The SFA will aid these rising stars in finding new products, leveraging the trade show experience, and creating connections with one another and with relevant exhibitors at the 2025 Summer Fancy Food Show.

The chosen Fancy Food Rising Stars will also receive complimentary badges to the event. The program offers a unique opportunity for these emerging leaders to be introduced to the Summer Fancy Food Show and to network with industry professionals.

Nominations for the Fancy Food Rising Stars program were sought across the buying and business-financing communities. The SFA, which represents more than 4,000 businesses worldwide, is responsible for the organization of the Summer Fancy Food Show, the Winter FancyFaire event, and the sofi Awards, which have been honoring excellence in specialty food and beverage annually since 1972.

In addition to the Fancy Food Rising Stars program, the Summer Fancy Food Show offers educational programming, networking opportunities, and more. Attendees can expect to discover the latest trends in the specialty food industry, as well as to connect with industry peers and exhibitors.
