Successful Implementation of Initiatives Aid Vulnerable Citizens - Almaly District Administration
In the Almalinsky District of Almaty, Kazakhstan, a series of initiatives and support programs have been implemented since 2020 to uplift socially vulnerable populations, large families, and elderly citizens. - In honour of the 75th Victory anniversary, 40 WWII veterans received food sets and household appliances.
- During Children's Protection Day, 100 families received shoe aid for their children.
- 14 children undergoing treatment at KazNIИI Oncology and Radiology received charitable aid during the Family Day.
- Community and Social Service Centers
- The Almaly Population Service Center, focusing on employment and entrepreneurial support, has been opened, offering 4,800 services to 730 citizens since its inception.
- The "Baqytty Otbasy" Family Support Center has provided 18,445 services this year, including 764 offline courses and 4,500 online courses.
- Humanitarian Aid
- 650 families received humanitarian aid, consisting of clothing and footwear.
- 205 individuals, including 121 large families, have received grants worth 200 MCI.
- Healthcare and Psychological Support
- During Senior Citizen Month, over 5,818 elderly citizens in the district received medical examinations, involving specialists such as cardiologists, endocrinologists, ophthalmologists, urologists, neurologists, vascular surgeons, and others. Medicines worth over 34 million tenge were distributed.
- Entrepreneurship and Education Support
- Over 500 people have been trained in entrepreneurship fundamentals through the "Basau Biznes" program.
- In 2020, a sewing workshop "ІСКЕР АНА" was opened for socially vulnerable populations.
- 200 children benefited from the "Road to School" action, receiving school supply bags.
