Technology Awards seeking nominations for all women in the industry

The everywoman in Technology Awards, a programme dedicated to recognising exceptional female talent in the tech industry, is now open for nominations. This prestigious event, which shines a spotlight on over 600 inspirational women working in STEM at every career stage, is now in its 16th year.

The tech landscape is evolving rapidly, with AI playing a significant role. It is vital that women play a defining role in shaping how these technologies are developed and adopted. This year, the awards continue to celebrate women who are leading groundbreaking projects and innovations in the tech industry.

There are several categories in the awards, each sponsored by a leading organisation in the tech sector. The Software Engineer Award, sponsored by NatWest, recognises the achievements of software engineers. The Tech for Good Award, sponsored by Lloyds Banking Group, honours those who use technology to make a positive impact on society. The Innovator Award, one of the most coveted categories, is sponsored by Booking.com and acknowledges those who are pushing the boundaries of innovation.

New categories this year include the Digital Star Award, a recognition for those excelling in digital roles, and the Male Agent of Change Award, which celebrates men who are advocates for gender diversity and equality in the tech industry. The Rising Star Award, sponsored by Booking.com, is for women who are just starting their careers in tech and showing great promise.

Entries are welcome from women working in a diverse range of tech roles in any sector. The Leader Award, sponsored by HSBC, is for those who have shown exceptional leadership skills, while the Team Leader Award, sponsored by Haleon, is for those who excel in leading and motivating their teams. The Woman of the Year Award, a prestigious category, is for the woman who has made the most significant impact in the tech industry.

Last year's winners included employees at American Express, Booking.com, Centrica, and Durham University. Ben Rimmer was the winner of the 'Male Agent of Change Award', while the One to Watch Award, sponsored by Computacenter, was not awarded in 2021.

The deadline for submitting entries is 13th October. The winners of the everywoman in Technology Awards will be announced on 19th March at Westminster Park Plaza Hotel. The 2026 categories include the AI Champion Award, Apprentice Award, CIO/CTO of the Year Award, and Cyber Security Award.

So, if you know a woman who is making a difference in the tech industry, nominate her today and help celebrate her achievements. Let's continue to shine a light on the incredible work being done by women in tech and inspire the next generation of female leaders.
