The number of offered spots in Berlin's daycare centers increased slightly from the end of 2023 to the end of 2024, but this was not enough to compensate for the decrease in the number of children.
Parents may find it easier to find a daycare spot in Berlin's daycare centers in the future, provided that the facilities do not reduce their capacities again.
