In the small town of Tikhoreck, a former school administrator named Elena Korolyuk faces the consequences of her actions. After a lengthy trial at the city court, she was found guilty of bribery and forgery. Tests revealed that over a five-year period from 2018 to 2023, Korolyuk accepted bribes totaling 250,000 rubles from students to manipulate their attendance records and grades, without any actual attendance.

While in a position of power at a local university, the educator exploited her authority, undermining the integrity of the education system. Yet, facing the gravity of her actions, Korolyuk admitted her guilt and expressed remorse during the trial.

The court harshly penalized her with a fine of 1,950,000 rubles and a three-year ban from teaching. The confiscation of the bribe money and the preservation of the arrest on her property were additionally ordered.
