Unqualified Teacher Arrested After 3-Year Fraud, €150k Property Seized
A suspect, previously employed as a teacher without the necessary qualifications, has been arrested in Rhineland-Palatinate following a traffic accident. The arrest comes after a warrant was issued due to concerns of flight risk and recidivism.
The suspect's criminal history dates back to 2021, when she began working as a teacher without the required qualifications. Over three years, she earned over €143,000 in Rhineland-Palatinate. In 2024, she moved to Saarland, continuing her deception with forged references and earning around €7,000 until April 2025.
The suspect's fraudulent activities did not go unnoticed. In October 2024, the Public Prosecutor's Office Heidelberg received a complaint from Targobank AG. The suspect had attempted to secure a loan of over €25,000 using forged pay stubs. Further investigations into her actions within the local area are ongoing.
The suspect, with a history of forgery and deceit, was arrested on 25.09.2025. A warrant was issued on 19.09.2025 due to flight risk and potential repeat offenses. A property arrest of €150,000 has been placed. Investigations continue to uncover the full extent of her actions and the seizure of her assets.
