Wadhwani AI Global, a nonprofit dedicated to harnessing AI for underserved communities, has appointed Nakul Jain as its new CEO and Managing Director. Jain brings a wealth of experience in AI, strategy, and international development to the role, which he will commence in India. The organization, co-founded by Romesh and Sunil Wadhwani, has previously transformed oral reading fluency for over six million Indian children using AI. Meanwhile, the ETIH Innovation Awards 2026, celebrating excellence in global education technology, are now open for entries.
